This, in my experience, has always been a pleasurable place to shop. The employees are personable, and from the moment you walk in, they make themselves available to help you If you need it--yet they don't hover.
We visited the Sephora in JC Penney today in Corbin. It was well stocked and the employees were very helpful. Really enjoyed it and will definitely be back soon.
The store itself is typically clean, well stocked and organized. The only problem is the selection. Don't get me wrong, they have tons of stuff to choose from at nearly every price point (though it does generally tend to be more on the expensive side). However, I find that the clothing in the women and junior sections is frankly kind of ugly (and unflattering).
This store was recently updated to include Sephora. Staff has been very nice and helpful. Good experience. We shop here or on line JCP.
Thankfully, they have a lot of cute dresses in the kid's department, which, strangely enough, fit me perfectly. I'm no minature person by any means (5'3, 120 pounds, 32D cup, size 4-5), but I can easily wear a size 12 in JCP girls. For context, my 7 year niece went with me to get a dress recently. She normally wears 10-12 in clothing. The store was about to close, so we just grabbed it and left. When we got home and tried it on, it completely swallowed her. Wound up needing a size 6.
Ergo, i would imagine people who buy from this section for their kids and grandkids find it frustrating that the sizing isn't consistent with that of other stores. Just something to be aware of..
Got thru checkout very fast only thing I would change is adding more plus sizes in petites
Workers very friendly and helpful. However when I went to exchange my items and repurchase it was a nightmare. The cashier was clueless on what to do and would not let me use my coupon. I finally had to make it real simple to them. Refund my money and I will walk away and then come back and purchase it. 30 minutes to exchange 4 items and buy five items.
