We always plan our distance to Corbin. Knights Inn. It is so down to earth, warm environment and safe.
UPDATE
The rooms all smell a little funky but for a quick overnight stop on a long road trip there are worse places to stop. Just be sure to pack your own soap and shampoo.
Very nice hotel. Would go back. Had some problems with the wifi
King bed, new reclining chair, a lot of space, micro, frig, newer tv, continental breakfast and the most friendly people!!! See ya next travels.
the breakfast was some bagels, cereal and muffins. The "cook" lady doesn't stop staring at you as you eat in this tiny room. I didn't even bother to eat Breakfast that day.
Now this was a good place to stop at when you are only going to be there one night and you don't plan on spending a lot of money. Cause it is like one of those places that makes you feel like your at home in your own room and I love that feeling cause I travel a lot more then the advance person doesn't so for that feeling like I am in my bed it was great so great. Beware the water gets hot.
It's gross here. And i think i got one of the better rooms. First thing i did was check for bed bugs. I didn't find any in the beds and i hope to god that they weren't hiding somewhere else. You can feel how dirty things are. You don't want to touch anything. There was dirty feet marks on the bathroom wall from where someone had sat on the counter. Cigarette burns in the sheets. Smells like a basement. And there was a cigarette in the bathroom light. So yeah it's not smoke free. Usually I'm not that picky about hotel rooms cause usually they at least look and feel clean. Not this place. Everything is covered in a layer of grime except the beds. Couldn't take my shoes off. Im itching to get to our air BNB and wash all my clothes. I'm not sure how the breakfast is yet. If you aren't picky about cleanliness and need a cheap place to stay then it's perfect. But for me, I hope to never have to sleep here again.
