I saw a banner a while back about eku Corbin thanking veterans and that they are a military friendly school. As a veteran I noticed the local Army recruiter had a pamphlet rack for information about college benefits, etc in the lobby. Not long after it was removed so i visited the recruiter office and asked why and was told that upper management EKU didn't approve it....so let me make sure I'm clear, you are veteran friendly enough to take our hard earned college money but not supportive enough to promote local recruiting efforts that would in turn bring more money to your school and keep young men and women from being swallowed by debt....oh and being a more productive citizen. Makes total sense...smh.
